Tom Hanks is an intelligent A-list actor who also has a contagious sense of humor. Did you catch his segment last week on David Letterman? Did you know that he loves typewriters?

The invention of the typewriter goes back to 1860's. We've had several pass through our shop here in Galena. The two images in this post are what we have available now. They patiently wait for their forever home.
Another interesting fact from Tom Hank's interview was his appearance on Happy Days, back in the 70s. Working with the writers of that show is what introduced him to Ron Howard, in turn landed him the role in Splash.
